some more boots!

lampshades!!!

I had a pretty old lamp I bought from a friend's mom's moving sale:

but the shade was falling apart so I used burlap to make a new one!

And, in the house we are working on there was a chandelier:

which we removed. I painted it white and had some little lampshades in my basement and thought they could be revamped to upcycle this piece. I removed the fabric from the shades:

A couple broke a little, but I taped them up. 

Then I used a pillow sham with French writing and some burlap trim to recover them:
